KYMCO RELEASES NEW ‘LIKE 150 R’ MODERN RETRO SCOOTER

KYMCO Australia is proud to release the new Like 150 R, the perfect integration of retro, elegance and luxury all packaged neatly into the one scooter.

Key improvements on the new Like 150 R are a completely new 9.9KW, 4-valve engine that boasts an impressive 16{a3b254b4be4716e8a975e62611898713160df2338ce43c4479a6012b73ce5866} over its predecessor, making it the most powerful scooter in its class. Further refinement by KYMCO has made the new power plant smoother, quieter and resulting in a more comfortable ride.
New framework, including the use of a bi-beam frame design and relocating the Likes fuel tank has enhanced the scooters handling characteristics and lowered its center of gravity. These improvements give the rider a better-balanced machine and make the scooter lighter to handle.
Traditional telescopic front fork and twin adjustable shock absorbers at the rear. High rigidity, lightweight 12” wheels contribute to the Like’s agile handling and look the part.
Nothing but the best in safety, the Like 150 R is fitted with Bosch ABS brakes, the most reliable and fastest acting emergency braking system currently on the market.
The Like 150 R will be the second KYMCO model to have this new user interface that provides the rider with navigation aids, smart phone notifications, custom dash display options and you can even construct and share your very own custom display through an online social community.
Under-seat storage and glove box compartment provide ample room for an open face helmet and accessories when out and about.
KYMCO’s Like 150 R is due to arrive in Australia at the start of May with a RRP of $4,290 inc GST plus on road costs. It will be available in 3 colour options, white, red or grey. Supported by a national KYMCO dealer network and comes with KYMCO’s 3-year factory warranty program.
