Taiwan’s KYMCO have pulled a Christmas surprise revealing the all-new Mongoose 90 S kids ATV and the MXU 450i midsized ATV will hit showroom floors as early as next week.

Sure to grant many kids their Christmas wish, the Mongoose 90 S kids ATV features a reliable 89.9cc four-stroke engine, CVT transmission including reverse and a host of safety features.

Aside from the front drum and rear disc brakes, the safety conscious highlights include an adjustable throttle stop, ignition cut-off lanyard, restrictive CVT collar and keyed electric start.

KYMCO Australia’s Michael Poynton was excited the Mongoose 90 S would be on showroom floors in time for Christmas.

“This is the ultimate present to leave under the tree.

“Mongoose 90 S is extremely easy to ride. It’s also big enough to provide fun for many years ahead,” he said.

The Mongoose 90 S will ring in at $2,790 plus dealer charges, will be available in a choice of blue or red and is supported by a two year warranty.

For the adults at Christmas, the work orientated MXU 450i offers a bonus of a different kind.

Priced from $7,990 plus dealer charges, the new model gets the same 33HP fuel-injected 450cc engine as its utility side-by-side cousin, the UXV 450i.

The new engine is coupled to a dual-range CVT automatic transmission that supports engine braking and 2WD / 4WD while a number of new productivity features are targeted directly at farmers.

Top of the list of the work ready features is the smooth riding independent suspension and steel wheels while heavy duty carry racks and a tow hitch are also highlights.

Poynton said the all-new MXU 450i was the result of KYMCO’s experience in the Australian market.

“The new MXU 450i incorporates all of our learnings about the harsh Australian environment into a reliable and extremely affordable package,” he said.

KYMCO will back the all-new MXU 450i with the factory’s three year warranty program.
